Crafted through an ancient fabrication technique using natural tree bark, this artisanal design showcases the quiet complexity of layered color and hand-applied detail.
The surface of Mulberry reveals a rhythmic layering of natural bark strips, hand-peeled and pressed into graceful linear forms. A meticulous double-dyeing process allows color to gently fuse with the bark’s natural grain, resulting in a finish that is both rich and softly weathered. Each panel is entirely unique, with subtle shifts in tone and texture that honor the handcrafted nature of the material.
