Etoile presents a striking, luminous surface defined by texture and light. Fabricated from cellulose strings, Etoile’s composition mirrors the organic feel of raffia, with distinct knots intentionally preserved to enhance the fiber’s authenticity. The deliberate vertical placement reveals Etoile’s glowing metallic backing, creating a sense of radiant motion down the wall. This gentle movement of light recalls the Roman Pantheon, where light passes through a narrow oculus, acting as a bridge between earth and sky.
