Torino’s towering grasses are rendered in stunning detail using a combination of etching and laser cutting on wood veneer, creating layered depth and rich texture in this four-panel mural. The etching lightly marks the wood surface, imparting a warm brown hue, while the laser cut pattern reveals the metallic foil backing beneath. Inspired by Demeter, the Greek goddess of grain, Torino depicts a divine connection to the earth, with each metallic detail reflecting its vitality.
